Agents and Intelligent Systems (AIS)
is part of the
Software Engineering Group
in
the
Department of Computer
Science at
King's College
London.
The Agents and Intelligent Systems subgroup comprises four academic staff, including two professors (Michael Luck and Andrew Jones) and two lecturers (Jeroen Keppens and Simon Miles), as well as associated research fellows and PhD students.
Our work is concerned with investigating various aspects of agent technologies and intelligent systems, and their applications. In particular, recent work has focussed on the following aspects, which are specific themes of interest within the group:
• Deontic Logic and Normative Systems
• Formal Theory of Communication
• Approximate and Qualitative Reasoning
• Artificial Intelligence and Law
• Agent-Oriented Software Engineering
• Virtual Organisations
• Trust and Reputation
• Grid Computing
